I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of California, Davis, where I studied composition with Kurt Rohde.
Video game music is one of my biggest inspirations, particularly the works of Koji Kondo, Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu. I also enjoy Hayao Miyazaki’s films and the music of Joe Hisaishi. I love combining ideas in my work: blending classical styles with modern sounds, old traditions with new sensibilities, playful simplicity with sophisticated detail.
